Meet Sandy! This big sweetie Sandy is a 9 year old former puppy mill momma who was completely shut down when she arrived into rescue. Sandy has been slowly coming out of her shell and her foster family was so thrilled to watch her sneak a spoon from the table and politely take it into the other room to "clean in". ;-)
Sandy is good with other dogs and good with kids however gets easily scared around lots of movement and loud sounds. She would do well in a calm household and loves to have her own bed to lay on as she watches everything around her and joins in when she is ready.
Sandy is on a weight loss diet as well and is getting around more and more as she slims down! We imagine she would be fine with a proper cat introduction as she is pretty low key but we would want to confirm this with any cat household. This sweet girl is truly experiencing life in a new way and has truly LOVED all the new discoveries like the water bowl, dog door, counter surfing, and BLANKETS!!!
