Mile High Weimaraner Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt, tax-deductible organization. Our group is operated by volunteers dedicated to the welfare of the Weimaraner breed. Weimaraners needing new homes are checked by a Veterinarian, spayed or neutered, updated on vaccines, tested for heartworms, and microchipped.  Sponsoring is easy and we desperately need your help to continue this work.

Recycling and Helping the Weims, What Could be better?

MHWR is on the lookout for old cell phones, used toner cartridges, and used ink cartridges! We are teaming up with Advantage Cartridges who donates a portion of the recycling money right back to our needy Weims. Simply stop by a Meet and Greet or Fun Event to drop off any spare to our volunteers.
 

Super Special Seniors

"Seniors" have special needs and often need that something extra from supplements, food and vet visits, these seniors have a lot of life and love to give. Won't you give to help them?

We desperately need Heartworm Preventative and yes, sometimes lifesaving treatments for our foster Weims.

MHWR Dog I.D. tags needed: one tag costs us $1 and has helped us on numerous occasions. Sometimes even the most seasoned volunteer has a sneaky foster who gets away from them. With our phone number displayed on their dog collar, it will ensure a safe and speedy return back to rescue.
